While running an errand at Waikele I was in the mood for Thai food and wanted something quick so decided to try out Quick Thai. Quick Thai is located in the center court at the upper waikele Shopping Center. They are not a restaurant but rather a cute little kiosk in the center with other kiosks serving different items such as coffee, etc.
Quick Thai has a small menu but items listed are popular and frequently ordered dishes that you would normally find in most Thai restaurants . I opted to order the Thai Basil with Chicken. You have a choice of meat for an extra charge. The Thai chicken was good - I would of preferred more basil but it was tasty and they give you a good sized portion. I also ordered a Thai Iced Coffee which I found to be a little too sweet for my liking but it was good. I didn't open up my yelp app to read reviews about Quick Thai but if I did I would have ordered the Garlic Shrimp that I read about - I will defiantly be back soon to try more items from the menu!
The lady (I'm assuming she's the owner) was the sweetest lady! -

For a kiosk, Quick Thai is on point tasting Thai food, that is made to order at a speedy readiness, 5-10 minutes depending on the line. The dishes I've enjoyed here competes with full restaurant kitchens.
My go to is usually the eggplant basil chicken rice $9.99. Perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I get it with a Thai iced tea $3.00. Sometimes I get the red curry chicken rice $9.99. Super tasty as well. I've had the cashew chicken $9.99, also a good choice.
Over the years, I've probably eaten here 20 times. Consistent good food every time!
UPDATE: Just tried the buttered garlic shrimp $12.99 last night. HOLY SMOKES! Get it! You won't be disappointed. First of all, I'm allergic to shrimp and took Zyrtec so I could eat it. Rare do I find anyone's garlic shrimp to rival Giovanni's shrimp truck. This comes close. Quick Thai's garlic shrimp has a sauce that you will want to have your rice soak up and enjoy every last drop. -

Quick Thai is a cute little kiosk/take-out place in the middle of Armani Exchange and ASICS at the Waikele Shopping Center.
Their menu is very limited to maybe 5-7 entree items and they mostly contain chicken in it. Vegetarian/vegan options are possible where you can do just a coconut curry or vegetable stir fry. All entrees come with 2 scoops of white rice. My boyfriend got the coconut curry and it was pretty good!
I had the Thai Iced Tea, that was good but they very tight on their ice. Had to ask for more twice.
Service was good. I'm glad she mentioned the vegetarian/vegan options because it was not shown on their menu.
Free public parking is around as it is in the Waikele Shopping Center. Just know that the parking spaces are tight.
Public bathrooms are available near Quick Thai and at the end by Saks Fifth Avenue. I would suggest going to the end because the one near Quick Thai is one stall, so you might have to wait.
Anywho, Quick Thai is cool. Not too bad. I'll probably go back to get their Thai iced tea! -

I wanted to try the summer rolls because they looked good in the picture but when I got it. The lettuce looked old and the noodles were over cooked. The sauce was horrible. It wasn't smooth it was chunky and gritty. Don't go it's a waste of money.
